THE ROAMING COFFEE BAR

A slightly crazy idea came to me: “What if I could build a coffee bar into the boot of my car?”

The more I thought about it, the more I realised just how impractical — and perhaps impossible — the idea was, not least because of the size of the boot in my Mazda MX-5. But rather than abandon it, I started wondering if there was another way to make it work.

With a career in Industrial Design, combined with prior experience as a barista, the idea quickly became a design challenge I couldn’t resist.

That’s when the concept evolved into something new - a pure, purpose built coffee bar that could still fit in the car (just about!), while also being a practical, professional setup in its own right.

The cogs started turning, ideas became sketches and cardboard mockups, and before long, The Roaming Coffee Bar came to life.

Boho Beverages was originally created as a brand for sharing my passion for coffee on Instagram, and I’m thrilled to now be breathing life into it beyond social media.
